STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN VI
PRANAMAYA KOSHA (Energy Body)
The sheath of energy (life force) animates the physical and mental bodies. The Pranamaya Kosha energizes the minerals and chemicals composing the physical body into a living being; supplying energy to all components. The air element, or pranic force, creates vibration and life. Prana rides the breath. It allows our True Self to animate in the physical universe. It initiates life. The Old Testament tells of God breathing life into Adam.
In the lower core of the body, between the anus and the navel, a unique form of pranic energy,’apana’ in Sanskrit, is found. It is concerned with the assimilation of food, waste removal, and sexual function. Apana is also the energy that pushes us out of the womb during birth and is often referred to as pelvic prana. Apana is involved with material existence, but carries the latent potential to transform into spiritual energy.
When we focus our attention on an area of the body, we energize the object of our attention. ENERGY FOLLOWS ATTENTION.
The Light Energy Matrix reveals properties common to other energy matrixes. As most easily understood, exemplified by the Sound Energy Matrix—an octave. The seven colors of the spectrum plus the half-notes at the base and top of the range, straddling. The prism separates the essence of the white light into the different wave lengths. The pyramid can be thought of as two prisms, occupying the same space, perpendicular, focusing the mid-range where the yellow sun energy (apogee of the physical) meets the green love energy — the beginning of the Spiritual.

If you have read your WEIGHT LOSS THROUGH YOGA, JEWEL IN THE LOTUS, you know the quality that is the nature of the mid-point of the octave. The pyramid is a perfect machine, with no moving parts, filtering for and focusing this quality in perpetuity.
The energy of attention stimulates latent apana. Because of the sexual nature of the pelvic prana, sensual arousal might occur. Just observe and accept. There is no need to censure the experience. Enjoy the meditation in observer consciousness.
After a set number of breaths, the attention moves up to the first chakra. If the meditator has time, he or she can relax into the experience and allow attention to percolate up to the sacrum on its own. The first chakra is awash with the color red. When initially meditating, all the aspirant needs is to be aware of is the color expressed through each chakra. With practice, all that will be necessary is to touch the front of the body over a particular chakra and the color associated with it will appear before the mind’s eye. Relax into the hue, feel it as much as visualize it. The shade of the color may vary from meditation to meditation and can be an indicator of the influences the person is presently under.
